I’m Emily, creator of minorDIY.   Creating and teaching paper crafting is a form of therapy and a creative outlet for me.

I help crafters make amazing, personal paper creations for special people and occasions (both joyful and sad). 

Almost everyone has been through some terrible situations in their lives, or else knows someone who has.  Life is not all rainbows and unicorns; I create cards to help you grieve with and support friends through those awful times that most people shy away from.

I started making photo books that captured many memories of our time together for going-away gifts (I’ve lived overseas for the past 14 years, so those departures were always tear-jerkers.) 

That turned into a love for designing spectacular photo gifts in the form of explosion boxes.  Making paper rise up out of cards and jump out of gift boxes is my favorite hobby.

When I’m not doing paper crafts, I’m creating projects for holidays and parties.

In my opinion, Halloween is the best excuse for over-the-top costumes and parties ever! Learn to make a no-sew yarn wig, print Halloween icebreaker games and costume contest awards, and prepare for hosting parties.
